Bones and feathers2022, exhibition catalogue
While Pola Dwurnik’s exhibition Bones and Feathers showcased three distinct series of paintings, the crucial element was its substantial autobiographical aspect, which lent a deeply personal tone; especially in the Nocturns series based on x-ray images, typically hidden from the broader public. The artist chose to present these personal belongings, with the catalogue’s design recalling the feel of a diary or journal.

The visual language is characterized by seemingly chaotic arrangements and medical accents, suggesting an intentionally disordered aesthetic.
